Torchwood: Golden Age

Excellent. Interesting to learn a bit more about Torchwood's history, and the subtle reference to Doctor Who was fun (Yeti spheres).

I know "the pictures are better on radio", but I really would like to have seen Torchwood India.

Edit: And, it's just occured to me, if Torchwood had bases in the protectorates and dominions, was there a Torchwood Canada or a Torchwood Australia? Torchwood Africa? Torchwood Jamacia? They raise all sorts of possibilities. (Maybe Commonwealth countries that still have the British Monarch as Head of State didn't have their Torchwoods closed down like India did.)

Oh, yes. I am firmly convinced there's Torchwood Canada, buried somewhere in darkest Saskatchewan.

The question is, when Newfoundland joined Canada, did our Torchwood get absorbed by the other one, like the General Governor's position, or do we still have a separate one?

Torchwood's style would seem to lean more towards a base in a major Toronto or Ottawa landmark 8-). The top of the CN Tower would be thematically equivilent to Torchwood One in Canary Wharf. (Or, to give it its proper name, One Canada Square. Coincidence?)

And, yes, there's probably a seperate Torchwood Newfoundland. I would imagine that officially it's now a subbranch of Torchwood Canada, but in practice they ignore this just like Jack used to ignore Torchwood One.
